• The JUST-NOK brand emerged in amidst the uncertainty of a global pandemic. Founder Archie along with the incredible support of his wife & family created the “JUST NOK” brand to align their passion of creating and helping other. Both military veterans desired to create something tangible that could be versatile and functional. Something that could potentially be shared with their extended military family and deployed friends.

    The notion expanded into a vision to create products that could positively impact our communities. To build a brand that celebrates our innate impulse for creation. Human beings have been creators since the beginning of time. Driven by necessity, we exhale when focusing our creativity towards the betterment of others.

    “I’d like to create a culture that not only challenges individuals to brainstorm through ideas and come up with solutions to problems & issues surrounding them, but also provide a realistic blueprint simple enough to implement and make those ideas realities. Creating product that are “Value Based” functional and reusable elevating simplistic everyday products” Archie.

  • JUST-NOK’s flagship line of portable dispensers was a response to the mad-dash for disinfectants that had made hand sanitizers into practically gold. But we weren’t after a quick profit. we saw an opportunity to serve a real, pressing need while elevating these products to the realm of good design. The vision was elegant, but the mission was simple: to protect people and communities.

    Judging how easy our kids to lost their hand-sanitizer bottles and our experience carrying sanitary liquids when traveling solidified this as our first product to tackle.

 NOK CULTURE

NOK culture is believed to have existed before ancient civilizations, as far as 500 B.C. the NOK people were world-renowned for their craftsmanship and iron smelting in Nigeria, West Africa. Their tribe, full of community, wonder, and celebration, took deep gratitude for their gifts for discovery and nature’s abundance. 

One of these wonders included discovering a range of terracotta heads lying beneath the great and rich alluvial soil. Unusual, fragmented, and off-kilter, these odd terracotta heads were christened by NOK people as many tribe members became enamored by their beauty. They defined the idea of unique functionality and diverse beauty.

Fascinated that they must hold religious, economic, and high socio-cultural symbolism. These pieces became centerpieces in their culture and community. Their thoughts stemmed from the idea that the past and its revelations, will trickle into relevance for the future. This is why it is important for us to be present today while contributing and being thankful for tomorrow.
